Terms and risk

Last updated October 16, 2026. Running on Aptos testnet.

Uptop is a tool for launching and trading coins on Aptos. By using it you accept what is written on this page. If you do not accept it, do not use the site.

1. What Uptop is, and what it is not

Uptop is non-custodial software. You keep your own wallet and your own keys, and every launch, buy, and sell is a transaction you sign yourself. We never hold your funds, we cannot move them, and nobody at Uptop will ever ask for a seed phrase or a private key.

Uptop is not a broker, not an exchange, not a bank, and not an adviser. Nothing on this site is investment advice, and nothing here is an offer of a security. Coins launched here are not screened, endorsed, or reviewed by us.

2. Coins on this site can be worthless, and often are

Anyone can launch a coin here in minutes, and most coins like this end at zero. Names, tickers, logos, and descriptions are written by whoever launched the coin. They are not verified. A coin can be a joke, an experiment, or an attempt to take your money, and we have no way to tell you which.

Nothing here promises a return, liquidity, a listing on another venue, a buyer for your coins, or a price. Buy only what you can afford to lose completely.

3. How the pricing works

A coin starts on a bonding curve held on Uptop. The price is set by the curve and by the trades that happen on it: buying pushes the price up and selling pushes it down, and every trade pays the fee the creator set. The curve is not an order book and not a market maker with a duty to quote.

The curve sells out at a target, and that target is fixed when the coin is created and shown on the coin page and before you launch. A graduate opens its own market and keeps trading.

Early trades carry a higher fee to blunt bots that buy the first block. It is applied on chain and it falls away as the coin picks up trades.

4. Fees

Launching costs a small, one-time fee in APT, shown on the create page before you sign. Each coin charges a trade fee that its creator sets, with a ceiling, and that fee is displayed on the coin page. Uptop takes a share of the trade fee on chain and the rest is paid to whoever the creator chose to route it to. The amounts are per trade and they come out of the coin's own quote asset.

5. Where the money sits

A coin that has not sold out holds its raised liquidity and its pool tokens on Uptop, in a pool account the protocol itself controls. No outside wallet holds a position in that pool, and every path that could move those funds checks that the pool's share stays where it is.

Uptop never holds your funds or your keys. That pool is an on-chain account that only the protocol can move, and every payout is a transaction you can check in the explorer.

A coin whose creator sent it to a DEX at launch moves its liquidity into a pool on that DEX, and the pool position is locked by sending it to a dead address in the same transaction, so nobody, this site included, can pull it back out. That pool belongs to a third-party protocol: it can pause or stop adding, swapping, or removing liquidity according to its own rules.

6. The code is not audited

The Aptos program behind this site has not been audited by a third party. It was reviewed by its authors and tested, and that is not the same thing. Smart contracts can contain bugs, and a bug can cost you your money.

We may upgrade the program to fix bugs or add features. Coins already launched keep the rules they were created with: the quote asset, the trade fee, and the sell-out target of a coin do not change when the program is upgraded.

7. Testnet builds

This build runs on Aptos testnet. Coins created here are test coins: they hold no value, they cannot be sold for anything, and they may stop working at any time. The bridge to other chains and the move to a DEX are mainnet work and are not deployed here.

8. Third parties

The site links out to wallets, bridges, explorers, DEX pools, and aggregators that we do not control and do not operate. Their own terms and risks apply once you are on them, including losing funds to a contract we never wrote.

9. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own wallet, for keeping your keys safe, for the taxes you owe on anything you do here, and for following the law where you live. Do not use this site if trading these kinds of coins is restricted or illegal for you.

10. No warranty, and limits on our liability

The site and the program are provided as they are, with no warranty of any kind, including that they will work without interruption or without error. To the extent the law allows, Uptop is not liable for losses, including lost profits, coins you cannot sell, or funds lost to a contract, a wallet, a DEX, or a bridge.

11. Changes

These terms can change. The version on this page applies from the date at the top, and continuing to use the site means accepting it. The on-chain program is the source of truth for what a coin actually does.
